Taste
Stagg Jr Bourbon is an impressive bourbon that comes in different proofs by batch. This profound bourbon is named to commemorate Master Distiller George T. Stagg and is produced at the award-winning Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is produced from Mash Bill #1, like other great blends such as Eagle Rare, E.H. Taylor, and Elmer T. Lee. It is a sour mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley, which has a lower content of rye, than mash bill #2. This bourbon is rich and fragrant with bright bursts of sweet, chocolate, and brown sugar aromas that mingle in perfect harmony with the bold rye spiciness. The finish lingers with hints of cherries, cloves, and smokiness, creating a complex and satisfying experience that bourbon enthusiasts will surely appreciate.

History
Stagg Jr Bourbon is a powerful and bold spirit, undoubtedly one of the most affordable bourbons in the Stagg collection. It is bottled at different proofs and is aged no less than 7-9 years, straight out of the barrel, uncut, and unfiltered. Crafted at the Buffalo Trace Distillery, it honors George T. Stagg, the founder who purchased his first distillery in 1878. His innovations in whiskey aging, including the first climate-controlled warehouse, transformed the industry. Over the years, the distillery has won numerous awards, and a young Albert Blanton's journey began there, leading to a lasting legacy. In 1992, the Sazerac Company acquired the distillery, preserving its rich heritage and making it one of the oldest functioning distilleries in the nation.
